NILE COPELAND

NILE "Judge" COPELAND received his undergraduate and masters degree from Louisiana State University and his law degree from South Texas College of Law. His areas of practice consist of multi-disciplinary areas of law including but not limited to business law, real estate law, aviation law, civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution (arbitration/mediation). He served as a judge for the city of Houston over nine years and serves as Chairman and Panelist Arbitrator for FINRA. In addition to being an attorney, he is a licensed Texas realtor, certified mediator, arbitrator former Judge and holds a certificate with the FAA with a philosophy that we never quit learning in life.

Nile has been surrounded by great role models over the year who instilled a passion to serve others and work to help resolve conflicts when possible. He believes in a collaborative approach in reaching solutions and often speaks to businesses and individuals about how to avoid the turbulence of litigation.

Nile is active in groups such within the community such as the Katy Christian Chamber of Commerce, the Shriner's Hospital, Freemasons, the Commemorative Air Force, Society of Aviation and Flight Educators, Aircraft Owners and Pilot Association (AOPA), Experiment Aircraft Association (EAA), National Sporting Clay Shooters Association, Ducks Unlimited, Safari Club International, Greater Houston Pachyderm Club and various Republican Women's group as well as various organizations with educational, conservation and philanthropic programs.

At the Copeland Law Group, PLLC, we understand that being involved with our community is an integral part of educating our community members on certain areas of law. That is why the staff of the Copeland Law Group, PLLC often works with community leaders or organizations in assisting others through Will Seminars/Clinics, Business Seminars, or Immigration Clinics.
